eBay
It's all the rage these days. Admittedly eBay has made starting a small business less complicated than having to open a store front. We're following suit; we'll be selling things on eBay on our eBay store located here.
Currently we don't have anything up (as you may have noticed.) This will soon change as our distributors grow. We'll also put up news on exactly what we have listed on eBay here on the front page. Even after the opening of our storefront I foresee that we will be involved with eBay for sometime, especially concerning vintage materials.
If you live in Southern California, and you're looking to sell off a video game collection (consoles, games, or accessories), Magic: the Gathering collection, or Anime/DVD collection (because you don't feel like liquidating it via another method,) please contact us. I have cash in hand and am willing to deal. However please note that we are for the most part looking for deep end, highly collectible items. I will say up front that I am not so interested in tons of Sports games etc, and prefer to purchase entire collections of rare RPGs, vintage MTG collections, and the like.

We are ambitious. As a result there is much to do in regards to opening our website. As Blizzard and 3DRealms like to say, our current ETA is: 'When it's done.'
Little post-its will be placed on this site occasionally to discuss progress and news. Please feel to drop us a line.

about us - some history
Since we were kids we played video games. The few of us starting this site and ultimately retail store were lucky enough to be a part of the video game generation. We grew up with Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Playstation, and the like. Every year was an explosion of exciting titles. This phenomenon was something that we wanted to be a part of, but in what capacity? Jeremiah dreamed of being an artist, a game writer, a modeler, and a level designer. He failed at them all. Playing games seemed to be the extent of our abilities. But then a revelation: we could become part of the community that creates the support for the games we love. Retrosaga as an idea was born.
What then was Retrosaga to be? It started with a simple idea. No reseller of games was offering a unique experience for the customer. Far too often rabid fans of games were greeted with white walls, mashed up, disorganized games, and mediocre customer service. Obvious basic business objectives were to offer the customer a unique experience, and vintage/used games that are not only excellent, but also in excellent condition as well.
The ideas expanded into many different ideas. What about arcades, tournaments, and offering an experience through the web? Clearly we had our work cut out for us, and now we push forward with steadfast determination. We may never make nearly as much money as the big corporate chains, but we can be sure that we will leave each customer who comes into our store our passion, dedication, and love of games, media, and culture.
